Please join us for the plenary roundtable of the Second Colloquium on Independent Publishing. The roundtable will feature three scholar-editors from Latin America and Europe in conversation about how and why independent publishing matters to contemporary literary studies, book history, and the sociology of culture. John Thompson (Cambridge University, Polity Press), Ana Cecilia Calle (Universidad Javeriana, Himpar Editores), and Gustavo Guerrero (CY Cergy Paris Université, Éditions Gallimard) will participate. Jeffrey Lawrence (English) will moderate and Marcy Schwartz (Spanish and Portuguese) will respond. The event will be followed by dinner.
